Did you purchased or refinanced a house in 2017? Is your appraisal higher than the amount you purchased or refinanced? You have an excellent chance of reducing your tax appraisal value! Williamson county has an expedited process for this situation. Simply email expressinquiry@wcad.org with your name, property ID, and a PDF of your settlement statement or signed closing disclosure. In Travis and Hays county you still need to go through the regular efile process to protest.
